All eight teams and (almost) all players competing at the 30th ARAG WORLD TEAM CUP came to the traditional Player's Night of the hosting Duesseldorf Rochusclub at the disco sam's on Saturday evening. Only Belgian Olivier Rochus was missing because of a long planned family event.

The top ten players Fernando Gonzalez (5) and James Blake (9) spontaneously knelt on the red carpet laid out in front of the entrance and pressed their hands on it a la "Walk of Fame" in Hollywood.

Those teams that play often at the World Team Championship, occupied their usual corners. And the newcomers from Belgium quickly found their place as well.

All enjoyed the good food provided by Pasqualino Palmieri and had a merry evening that ended shortly after 23:00 hrs. Duesseldorf (pps)
